I art directed and produced over 1800 graphics for the Toyota World Wide Celebration for George P. Johnson. It was a 4 hour party with 800 guests from around the world. With many environments to navigate and too many languages to graphically manage, I created custom icons and used simple, bold and bright color blocks to help guest navigate the huge Las Vegas Raceway.
The graphics alone took over 8 months to finalize content and space. I used smart objects and external master files to manage asset control and client updates. In other words, I planned for the worst. When an icon was changed, affecting 300+ graphics, no one got a dirty look from me. Planning for this graphics were automatically updated as they were produced.
